Compute P(A|B), if P(B) = 0.5 and P (A $\cap$ B) = 0.32

1 Answer

Toolbox:
  • \(P(A/B)=\Large\frac{P{(A\cap\;B)}}{P(B)}\)
\(P(B)=0.5\;p(A\cap\:B)=0.32\)
$\Rightarrow$ \(P(A/B)=\large\frac{0.32}{0.5}=\frac{32}{50}=\frac{16}{25} \)
