The equation of trajectory of a projectile is given by $y=x -\large\frac{x^2}{100}$ Find velocity of projection .

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;\frac{1}{100} \\(B)\;\frac{1}{200} \\(C)\;\frac{1}{300}\\(D)\;2 \end{array} $

Comparing the given equation with the standard equation of trajectory.
$y=x \tan \theta_0 -\large\frac{gx^2}{2v_0^2 \cos ^2 \theta _0}$
We find that $\tan \theta_0 =1$ and equation co-efficient of $x^2$
$ \large\frac{g}{2v_0^2 \cos ^2 \theta _0}= \frac{1}{100}$
Hence A is the correct answer.
