State whether 'or' used in the statement given "Sun rises or Moon sets" is exclusive or inclusive.

  • 'or' is inclusive in the statement if both the components can occur simultaneously to make the statement correct.
  • 'or' is exclusive in the statement if only one of the the components occur at a time to make the statement correct.
The given statement is:
"Sun rises or Moon sets"
Here 'or' is exclusive or.
Because only one of the incident occur at a time.
i.e., Sun sets or Moon rises.
