Answer : $NaBr+H_2SO_4\rightarrow NaHSO_4+HBr$
Sulphuric acid oxidizes HBr(or H) to $Br_2$ (or $I_2)$.The halides HBr and HI are prepared by hydrolysis of phosphorus trihalides with cold water.
$PX_3+3H_2O\rightarrow H_3PO_3+3HX$
X=Br or I
