The partial pressure of ethane over a solution containing $6.56 × 10^{–3}$ g of ethane is 1 bar. If the solution contains $5.00 ×\times 10^{–2}$ g of ethane, then what shall be the partial pressure of the gas?

Applying the relationship $m=K_H\times P$
In the first case,
$6.56\times 10^{-2}g=K_H\times 1 bar ^{-1}$
$K_H=6.56\times 10^{-2}g bar ^{-1}$
In second case,
$5.00\times 10^{-2}g=6.56\times 10^{-2}g bar ^{-1}\times P$
$P=\large\frac{5.00\times 10^{-2}g}{6.56\times 10^{-2}g bar ^{-1}}$
$\;\;\;=0.7621$ bar
