(2) The electronegativity values of both the series are low

(3) Both form colored ions

(4) They both have high binding energy

(5) Both show a +3 oxidation state

$\begin {array} {1 1} Only (3) \\ Only (3) \;and \;(4) \\ (1),(2)\;and \;(4) \\ (1),(2)\;and\;(3) \end {array}$

Answer: Only (3) and (4)
(3) Both form colored ions $\rightarrow$ Members of the Lanthanides can produce colourless ions; Actinides produce coloured ions.
(4) They both have high binding energy $\rightarrow$ This is true of Lanthanides; Actinides have low binding energy.
