An antifreeze solution is prepared from 222.6 of ethylene glycol and 200g of water.If the density of the solution is $1.072gmL^{-1}$,then what shall be the molarity of solution.

Moles of ethylene glycol =3.59mol
Mass of solution =200+222.6=422.6g
Volume of solution =$\large\frac{\text{Mass}}{\text{Density}}$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{422.6}{1.072}$$=394.22mL$
Molarity =$\large\frac{\text{Moles of solute}}{\text{Volume of solution in mL}}$$\times 1000$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{3.59}{394.22}$$\times 1000$
$\Rightarrow 9.11M$
