The mass of a box is $23\;g$ . Two gold pieces , each of mass $0.035\;g$ , are placed in it. The total mass of the box and gold pieces is

$\begin{array}{1 1} 2.3\;g \\ 2.4\;g \\ 2.37\;g \\2.370\;g \end{array} $

Can you answer this question?

Answer : $ 2.4\;g$
$(2.3 +0.035 +0.035) \;g= 2.37 \;g$
But we have to retain only one decimal place .
So, the total mass is $2.4 \;g$
