In 3 seconds,an object moving around a circle sweeps out an angle of 9 radians. If the radius of the circle is 0.5 meter, the centripetal acceleration of the object is

$\begin{array}{1 1}4.5m/s^2\\3m/s^2\\13.5m/s^2\\15m/s^2\end{array} $

Answer : $4.5m/s^2$
If the object sweeps out 9 rad in 3s,its angular velocity is 3 rad/s.Since the radius is 0.5m,the centripetal acceleration is given by
$a_c=\omega^2R=(9)(0.5)=4.5m/s^2$
