A stone is thrown upwards with velocity v. At half the height, its velocity is

$\begin{array}{1 1} zero \\ \large\frac{v}{4} \\ \large\frac{v}{2} \\\large\frac{v}{\sqrt 2}\end{array} $

Can you answer this question?

Answer : $\large\frac{v}{\sqrt 2}$
$v \alpha \sqrt h,v' \alpha \sqrt{\large\frac{h}{2}}, \large\frac{v'}{v}=\frac{1}{\sqrt 2}$
or $v'= \large\frac{v}{\sqrt 2}$
