A car of mass $750\;kg$ moves around a circular track of radius $50\;m$ with a speed of $10\;ms^{-1}$. What's the centripetal force on the car?

Answer : $ 1500\;N$
By Newton's second law the force F producing this acceleration on a massm towards the center of rotation is
$F= ma = \large\frac{mv^2}{r}$
$F= \large\frac{mv^2}{r} =\frac{750 \times 10^2}{50}$
$\qquad= 1500\;N$
