A resistor of resistance $4000 \Omega$ and a capacitor of resistance $200 \Omega$ are connected in series to a $220\;V\; 50\; Hz$ a.c. source. If the currents in the circuit is $0.49$ ampere, find the 1. Voltage across the resistor and capacitor. 2. Value of inductance required so that voltage and current are in phase.
