Find the transpose of the following matrices: $ \begin{bmatrix} 1 & -1 \\ 2 & 3 \end{bmatrix}$

  • If A =$[a_{ij}]$ be an matrix,then the matrix obtained by interchanging the rows and column of A is called the transpose of A.
  • Transpose of the matrix A is denoted by A' or $A^T.$
Given the matrix $\begin{bmatrix}1 &-1\\2 & 3\end{bmatrix}$
To get the transpose of the Matrix A′, we need to interchange the rows into column to get the transpose.
$A'=\begin{bmatrix}1 &2\\-1 & 3\end{bmatrix}$
