A variable frequency a.c source is connected to a capacitor .How will the displacement current change with decrease in frequency ?

Solution :
Current through the capacitor is $I= \large\frac{E}{X_c}$
$\qquad= \large\frac{E}{1/Cw}$
$\quad = ECw$
$\qquad= 2 \pi \alpha CE$
$I \alpha \gamma$
Hence decrease in the frequency $\alpha $ of a.c . source decrease the conduction current .
so thee will be decrease in the displacement current in the circuit .
