A metal plate is getting heated. It can be because of
(a) a direct current is passing through the plate.
(b) it is placed in a times varying magnetic field
(c) it is placed in a space varying magnetic field but does not varying with time
(d) a current (either direct or alternating ) is passing through the plate.

When the metal plate gets heated, it can be due to passage of direct current or alternating current or induced current through the plate. As time varies the magnetic field produces induced current in the plate.
Hence the option is a, b and d are correct.
