Find matrix X if $X+\begin{bmatrix}2 & 5\\3 & -1\end{bmatrix}=\begin{bmatrix}3 & 4\\2 & 0\end{bmatrix}$

Let A =$\begin{bmatrix}2 & 5\\3 & -1\end{bmatrix}$ and B=$\begin{bmatrix}3 & 4\\2 & 0\end{bmatrix}$
X+A=B
Add (-A) on both sides
X+A+(-A)=B+(-A)
X+{A+(-A)}=B+(-A)
X=B+(-A)
Substitute A & B in the above equation
$X=\begin{bmatrix}3 & 4\\2 &0\end{bmatrix}+\begin{bmatrix}-2 & -5\\-3 & 1\end{bmatrix}$
$\;\;=\begin{bmatrix}3-2 &4-5\\2-3 &0+1\end{bmatrix}$
$\;\;=\begin{bmatrix}1 &-1\\-1 &1\end{bmatrix}$
