a)Euphoria : Appears immediately after the intake of alcohol especially when taken in small quantity. Anxiety and worries disappear. Persons become talkative.
b) Loss of body coordination : Muscular coordination is depressed. There is staggering clumsy gait and tendency to fall down and incoherent speech.
c) Alteration in behavior : Emotional outbursts and mood swings become common.
: Incidents occurred during drunken conditions are forgotten.
Measures to overcome:
a) Pressure by the family : Family should take measures to prevent the habit of drinking.
b) Social boycott : Alcoholics should not be invited for any social functions but the family should not be side lined.
