Tiny frog eggs are laid in masses in the water by a female frog.A frog egg does not have a hard shell. The eggs hatch into tadpoles. tadpole - (also called the polliwog) This stage hatches from the egg.The third stage is adult frog
By 12 weeks, the tadpole has only a teeny tail stub and looks like a miniature version of the adult frog. Soon, it will leave the water, only to return again to lay more eggs and start the process all over again! By between 12 to 16 weeks, depending on water and food supply, the frog has completed the full growth cycle.
