Which of the following function is increasing in $(0 , \infty)$

\[\begin{array}{1 1}(1)e^{x}&(2)\frac{1}{x}\\(3)-x^{2}&(4)x^{-2}\end{array}\]

$f(x)=e^x$
$f'(x)=e^x > 0$ for all x i $(0, \infty)$
$e^x$ is increasing in $(0, \infty)$
Hence 1 is the correct answer.
