Show that the function $f(x) = \left\{ \begin{array}{l l}\large\frac{x}{|x|+2x^2}, & \quad { x \neq 0} \\ \lambda, & \quad { x = 0} \end{array} \right.$ remains discontinuous at x = 0 regardless of the choice of $\lambda$.
