amoeba withdraws its pseudopodia and secrete a three layered thick coverings. I want to know what the relation between the two events i,e withdrawing pseudopodia and secreting a three layered thick covering?And if they don't have any relation in particular what's the point in withdrawing pseudopodia?It's that like ,if it will not withdraw it's pseudopodia it will not be able to secrete "cyst"
