The domain of the function $\cos^{-1}(2x-1)$ is

$\begin{array}{1 1}[0,1] \\ [-1.1] \\ (-1,1) \\ [0, \pi] \end{array} $

1 Answer

Toolbox:
  • Domain of \( cos^{-1}x\) is [-1,1]
Ans (A) [0, 1]
By taking 2x-1 in the place of x we get
\( \Rightarrow -1 \leq 2x -1 \leq 1\)
\( \Rightarrow 0 \leq 2x \leq 2\)
\( \Rightarrow 0 \leq x \leq 1\)
\(\Rightarrow\: The\: Domain\: is [0,1]\)
